Terms & Conditions
The maximum number of guests for our house is 6 people.
We request a 25% deposit to be paid within 7 days to secure your booking. This deposit is taken off the final cost but it is subject to our cancellation terms below.
Cancellation Policy
Pauanui has limited accommodation especially over the peak and summer period.
We need to impose a cancellation policy that reflects the fact that late cancellations have an impact on our ability to find other guests at short notice. Where a change in plans see you need to cancel your booking 28 days or more before the planned arrival, we will fully refund any deposit paid. We appreciate early notice of a change in your plans.
Where a cancellation occurs within 27 days of arrival, we will refund 50% of any deposit paid to recognise that we may have turned away other interest. This is fair – we believe.
Where a cancellation occurs within 14 days or two weeks of arrival, the deposit will be used to cover the costs of a late cancellation so we will not be able to refund this close to your stay. Where you elect to leave early – again – we are unable to refund any portion of your confirmed stay. Thank you for reviewing and for agreeing these terms when you pay your deposit.
